THE WITCHDOKTORS have announced a new album for release later this month.
Titled Izzatso?, the band's sixth album is set for release through Bomber Music on 31 October and features the track 'Before The War', premiered by Vive Le Rock last year.
“It’s a Post Covid PTSD hitting home like the scarred and broken minds of a victim of ‘active service’”, explains vocalist and guitarist Andy Last about the song. “The masses subjected to ‘the beast’ created by the few. Cannon fodder all over again. Death and Destruction without a thought for the individual. Will we ever learn? Sign-up, Serve Up, mission completed, contract terminated and now it’s someone else’s problem. here’s your plastic medal and a shoe box to live in. Whatever happened to the sparkle in those beautiful eyes?”
Available here on 7" coloured vinyl, a percentage of profits from 'Before The War' will be donated to the charity PTSDUK.
Izzatso? is available to pre-order here.
