THE DAMNED ANNOUNCE 40TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR!

Fresh from headlining the Royal Albert Hall this summer, THE DAMNED have announced a full U.K. tour in celebration of their 4oth Anniversary of their classic debit single 'New Rose'.
Signing to Stiff Records, The Damned released 'New Rose' on 22 October 1976, accepted as the U.K's first ever punk single. It was followed in February 1977 by Damned Damned Damned, the first album released by a British punk band. It wasn't long before they were the first British punk band to undertake a U.S. tour.
Currently recording a new studio album, the band have set up a pledge campaign here. Damned Damned Damned, meanwhile, will get a special deluxe vinyl reissue in February through BMG.
