Fresh from their recent UK dates, Swiss garage legends THE JACKETS have a new video which they're premiering with Vive Le Rock!
A piece of A-grade garage ramalama, 'Rock & Roll Band' is one of two brand new tracks on the trio's brand new compilation album Essentials, which is out now through Chaputa Records.
The song, say the band, "is a straightforward, powerful punk rock dance track about life in a band and refusing to settle down."
Their first ever puppet animation, the video for 'Rock & Roll Band' is the work of renowned New Zealand artist, actor and musician, Chris Stapp.
Formed in 2008 by Jackie Brutsche (aka Jack Torera) and drummer Chris Rosales and now joined by bassist Omar Fra, The Jackets have been building a reputation around the world with dates across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, Japan, the US and beyond. They recently played a rare run of UK dates, including a headline spot at London's Le Beat Bespoke Weekender.
Essentials - put together for as an introduction to fans on their recent trip Down Under - does exactly what it says on the tin and is available to buy here.
