Rock Goddess SUZI QUATRO tour the roof off London's Palladium last night, so we're sharing her latest video while we're still buzzin'...
The Vive award-winning icon has hooked up with fellow Detroit rock alumni Alice Cooper to deliver a storming rendition of the MC5's revolutionary anthem 'Kick Out the Jams'.
The track's taken from Suzi's new album Freedom, her third collaboration with her son, producer, musician and co-writer L R Tuckey. “It’s all about getting back to who you are, and it applies universally," she says of the album. "We all wear masks to get by in this world. For me it’s all about being comfortable in your own skin, having nothing to prove to anyone, and not accepting any BS! This is the journey this album takes you on. Here I am, warts and all. Take it or leave it. Choose yourself…and finally FREEDOM. Which also applies to the world we live in today. A very important word, a very important attitude and very important reality… ‘FREEDOM’!”
Freedom is out now through Chrysalis.
