The UK SUBS' sixth album is to get an expanded reissue ahead of a string of Autumn dates.
Flood Of Lies, originally released in 1983, was the band's first album following the dissolution of the Diminished Responsibility / Endangered Species line-up, with Charlie Harper bringing in original bassist Steve Slack, ex-Chelsea drummer Steve Jones and guitarist Captain Scarlet.
Following the closure of previous label NEMS, the album was released through the guitarist's own label Scarlet Records via Fallout, who are now responsible for this reissue.
Available on limited edition transparent yellow ochre vinyl, the newly remastered album is also available as a 2xCD set featuring seven tracks taken from the 'Another Typical City' single and the Magic EP, plus three previously unreleased demos and the band's subsequent album Gross-Out USA, recorded live in Chicago in Spring '84 by a line-up of Harper, Scarlet, returning drummer Pete Davies and Discharge's Tezz Roberts on bass.
Set for release on 4 October, Flood Of Lies is available to pre-order here.
Following the band's decision to cease major touring, and Charlie's celebratory 80th birthday bash at Shepherds Bush Empire in May, the band have announced a handful of UK and European dates to take them up to the end of the year. Full dates are...
