 Strummercamp Festival 2012  1/2/3 June |Manchester Rugby Club  A not-for-profit festival celebrating the life, music & influence of Joe Strummer and the Clash  “the friendliest festival on the circuit”efestivals  “The only festival that matters now matters even more” John Robb  “A festival winner 5/5” Big Cheese  The jubilee weekend see the ‘magnificent seventh’ Strummercamp festival at Manchester Rugby Club for another weekend of great music to celebrate the music and influence of Joe Strummer and the Clash.  Early-bird tickets are going on sale on the 31st October for just £50, with under 14s tickets £20 and under 10s get in FREE.  Building on the success of teaming up with Manchester punk label TNSrecords and Leeds underground promoter Hempen Jig last year, Strummercamp in 2012 will also welcome Manchester’s Punxinna Jungle and Slit Promotions to the family. This promises to bring even more quality and diversity to the festival, increasing the number of stages to 5.  The headliners will be announced through the website over the next couple of months.
