THE STRANGLERS' classic Feline album is to get the deluxe expanded treatment for its 40th Anniversary.
One of the band's most successful albums, it yielded the Top 10 hit European Female in 1983 and made it to no.4 in the album chart - a feat equalled, coincidentally, by their debut album Rattus Norvegicus, fourth album The Raven and their most recent longplayer, 2021's Dark Matters.
Their first album for Epic, Feline was produced by the band with Steve Churchyard and mixed by legendary Bowie and Bolan producer Tony Visconti
Now presented in double-vinyl and double-CD editions, the reissue presents the original album alongside a second disc of nine rarities including single mixes and b-sides. The vinyl edition comes in pink and red, while the CD edition features an exclusive booklet with notes by band biographer Chris Twomey.
Set for release on 3 March through BMG, it's available to pre-order here.
