While Rebellion was in full swing in Blackpool last weekend, STIFF LITTLE FINGERS headed off for a short tour of Sweden as a warm up for the UK and Irish gigs planned later this month.
Supported by the always energizing and exciting local punks The Headlines, SLF covered the three main cities in four days. Vive Le Rock was lucky to catch the band on fire at KB in Malmö on Friday night where they played a storming gig to an enthusiastic crowd, who were offered a good mix of old and new favourites including new and unreleased song '16 Shots', about the 17-year old black youth Laquan MaDonald who was killed by Chicago Police, along with unavoidable numbers like 'Suspect Device', 'Strummerville', 'Alternative Ulster' and 'My Dark Places' to name a few.
SLF resume touring in the UK and Irleand next week. Catch the band live at...
