Former CRASS frontman STEVE IGNORANT has issued a new live album, recorded with his latest project SLICE OF LIFE last year.
Live At The Forum 2015 was recorded at the North London venue last October while the band were touring as special guests of SLEAFORD MODS.
Steve’s songwriting had been an influence on Sleaford Mods’ Jason Williamson, who invited Slice Of Life to support the Nottingham duo on the tour for their Key Markets album.
Musically, Slice Of Life is a considerable departure from Crass, featuring an acoustic line-up of Carol Hodge on piano and backing vocals, Pete Wilson on guitar and backing vocals and Pete Rawlinson on bass.
Available on download and vinyl, the album features four songs that have yet to be recorded. With preparations underway for a second studio album it was decided the pressing should be limited, so the vinyl is a one-off pressing of just 300 copies. It's available to order here.
