STEEL PULSE RETURN!

STEEL PULSE RETURN!

Reggae legends STEEL PULSE have announced the release of a brand new album next month.

Their twelfth studio album, Mass Manipulation is the Birmingham band's first new album in 15 years, following on from 2004's African Holocaust. It's set for release through Rootfire on 17 May, preceded by the single 'Cry Cry Blood'.

Formed at school in Handsworth in 1975, aligning themselves with the Rock Against Racism movement and sharing stages with numerous punk acts. Their debut single 'Ku Klux Klan' and accompanying album Handsworth Revolution are regarded as pioneering classics of the roots reggae genre. Although many members have flowed through the band over the years, their line-up still features founding singer/guitarist David Hinds and keyboard-player Selwyn Brown.

Mass Manipulation is available to pre-order here.

As previously announced, Steel Pulse will be appearing at Bearded Theory's Spring Gathering, which takes place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire from 23-26 May, alongside the likes of THE CULT, DREADZONE, LITTLE STEVEN & THE DISCIPLES OF SOUL, STIFF LITTLE FINGERS, THE SKIDS, THE SKATALITES, THE WILDHEARTS, ANGELIC USTARTS, THE BAR STOOL PREACHERS and loads more. Tickets are available here.
