Fast-rising London punks GHOST CAR have just released a new single from their forthcoming debut album.
The band recently signed to One Little Independent for the release of the album Truly Trash from which the single 'Sex' is drawn.
The single is “about having an interaction with someone once and thinking more of it than it actually was," they say. "Especially with social media, being able to see that person all the time, thinking you have a connection when really you just snogged them at a party once. It made us so happy to be a band formed by women from different parts of the world but with the same feelings and frustrations!”
Speaking about Truly Trash, they say, “This album is our way to express what bothers us, from personal interactions to international politics. We wanted to explore different themes in a simple way so that they could be accessible to everyone.”
'Sex' is available now on Spotify and all the usual platforms.
Set for release on 28 October, Truly Trash is available to pre-order here.
Ghost Car play The Victoria, Dalston, London on 7 August.
