SOCIAL DISTORTION LONDON SHOW

Social Distortion Announce London Show on May 3rd 2015

Iconic rock ‘n' roll band Social Distortion have announced an exclusive UK show in London’s O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on May 3rd. The tickets are going on sale on Tuesday 23rd of December at 9:00 am, via this link: http://gigst.rs/SDSBE Support’s will be the Social Distortions own Jonny Two Bags and Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas.

Since their formation in 1979 in the working class Southern California suburb of Fullerton, Social Distortion have a recharged rock ‘n’ roll sound merging outlaw country, classic punk and swaggering blues. The band’s latest release Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes has been rousing success with critics and fans alike. The album marked the group’s highest chart position in the band's 32 year recording career, both in Europe and the US and has received worldwide critical acclaim:

Mojo Magazine (UK) stated that "Mike Ness and his men still have those rock'n'roll blues", while Uncut Magazine (UK) declared that "amassing influences from Stones/Skynyrd gospel raunch (Diamond in the Rough), through Clash meets Springsteen broadsides (Writing On the Wall), Ness’ songs tackle his experience with hard unforgiving honesty...". MSN.com called the record a “knockout” and said that it’s a “great reminder that punk is a state of mind, not just a hairstyle", while USA Today added that "Mike Ness and his band of punks are as intense as ever".

Social Distortion's career-high chart positions are a testament to the band's legacy, longevity and relativity as they continue to rev their engine well into the third decade of their celebrated career.
