Line up is David Thomas on vocals; Cheetah Chrome on guitar, piano; Craig Bell on bass; Richard Lloyd on guitar and Steve Mehlman on drums.  The songs were produced and mixed by David Thomas in Ohio. Formed in Cleveland in the summer of 1974, Rocket From The Tombs existed for less than a year in their first incarnation before imploding.  The band's only other two releases (both out on Smog Veil Records) are the albums "The Day The Earth Met The Rocket From The Tombs" and "Rocket Redux." Recording was produced by Ken Coomer (Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, Steve Earle, Emmy Lou Harris) in Nashville, TN.  BUTCHER BOYS RELEASE DATE: May 18, 2010 ARTIST: Butcher Boys ALBUM TITLE: I'll Tell Me Ma FORMAT: 7" inch vinyl RECORD LABEL: Smog Veil Records TOUR DATES: play dates confirmed, see website for details Butcher Boys featuring Cheetah Chrome (Dead Boys, Batusis) on guitar on the title track "I'll Tell Me Ma." Hailing from the Elm City of New Haven, Connecticut, the Butcher Boys blend punk roots, with rock, country and ska. Add a shot of boozy Irish ballads and traditional Celtic session tunes, and the result is a unique cocktail that is one intoxicating brew.  Influences the band cites include: the Pogues, Johnny Cash, the Specials, Elvis Costello, Sam Cooke and X. The documentary film follows the creation and culmination of events for two choirs -- one in Chicago and one in Singapore.  PETER LAUGHNER RELEASE DATE: November 2, 2010 ARTIST: Peter Laughner and various artists ALBUM TITLE: TBA FORMAT: 10-CD box set RECORD LABEL: Smog Veil Records TOUR DATES: N/A This release will be packaged as a box set and will feature over 100 tracks plus a video.  Laughner was a singer, songwriter and guitarist who played with Rocket From The Tombs and the earliest incarnation of Pere Ubu.
