SMALLTOWN TIGERS are set to take a bite out of the New Year with a new album and tour.
Crush On You is the Rimini, Italy trio's first full-length and comes nearly four years after their acclaimed debut mini-album Five Things, released in May 2020.
They haven't been idle during that time, though, having been personally invited by The Damned to open their '76 reunion tour on Autumn '22. They followed this with a support slot on the Euro-leg of the current band's Darkadelic tour in the Spring of this year.
Once again the album was recorded at L’Amor Mio Non Muore studio in Forli with producers Stiv Cantarelli and Robi Villa (alias post-punk duo J.D. Hangover – Italy’s answer to Suicide) and mastered by Detroit garage guru Jim Diamond (White Stripes, Dirtbombs, Von Bondies, etc).

As previously announced, the Tigers will also be playing the three Stone Valley Festivals in Hertfordshire (24-26 May), Notts (21-23 June) and Durham (9-11 Aug).
