Manc punk legends SLAUGHTER AND THE DOGS are back with a brand new album.
Fifty years to the month since they opened for the Sex Pistols at the city's Lesser Free Trade Hall, the band have revealed that the album White Heat is set for release through Cadiz in September.
Still featuring founder members Mick Rossi on guitar and vocals and Howard Bates on bass, plus former Eater drummer Phil Rowland, who first joined back in '79, the band recorded the album at Winslow Ct. Studio in Los Angeles with Grammy-nominated producer Craig Parker Adams (Dave Alvin, The Flesh Eaters, Divine Horsemen) and various special guests Billy Duffy and former Mott The Hoople keyboardist Morgan Fisher.
"White Heat represents the highest possible stage of intensity whether emotional, physical or creative." Rossi explains. "Everything we have strived for and were inspired by is on this album. We laid it all on the line."
Set for release on 4th September, White Heat is available to pre-order here.
