SLADE see their classic compilation album Sladest reissued in deluxe vinyl and expanded form this autumn.
Originally released in September '73 at the peak of the chartbusting Black Country quartet's fame, the album recapped on their career for the Christmas market which saw the classic 'Merry Xmas Everybody' hit the top spot.
Going straight into the album charts at No.1, Sladest remained on the charts for twenty-four weeks, being certified Gold the following year. Featuring all the band's hits to that point, the album's fourteen tracks also revisited their earlier pre-chart catalogue.
The latest in BMG's comprehensive series of Slade reissues, the latest edition sees the album presented on limited edition blue/white splatter vinyl, while the CD edition adds six further tracks, including 'Merry Xmas Everybody' and the US single edit of 'Skweeze Me, Pleeze Me'.
Set for release on 4 November, Sladest is available to pre-order here.
