New York Alternative Hip Hop Trio FUN LOVIN’ CRIMINALS will be hitting The Main Stage on Friday 18th July, supporting The Boomtown Rats.  Most famous for their all time classic anthem “Scooby Snacks”, as well as “King Of New York”, “The Fun Lovin’ Criminal” and their absurdly catchy tribute to the late great Barry White, “Love Unlimited” FLC have released a total of 6 studio albums since their inception in 1993 and are still going strong.  Fronted by the charismatic Radio 6 music host Huey Morgan, the band are renowned for their explosive live sets and having not performed at GuilFest since their unforgettable performance back in 2002, this will definitely be a show to catch!

Organisers are delighted to announce that 70’s rockers SLIM CHANCE, the band formed by the legendary late Ronnie Lane following his departure from The Faces are to perform on The Good Time Guide Stage on Friday 18th July.  Featuring original members Steve Simpson, Charlie Hart, Steve Bingham, Alun Davies and Colin Davey, this will be a rare opportunity to hear Ronnie’s much celebrated melodies, played as they were always meant to be heard, in the true spirit of the bands previous incarnations.  This will be a performance that will celebrate the huge range of Ronnie’s music, bringing it to ears that may have never got the opportunity the first time round.

One of the UK’s foremost underground rock bands, THE BLACKOUT are to return to GuilFest to headline The Big Cheese Rock Cave, also on Friday 18th July.  Formed in 2003 in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, The Blackout have a huge legion of devoted fans - as illustrated quite clearly during their now famous previous headline performances at Stoke Park.  With four hugely successful studio albums under their collective belts, numerous awards and nominations, enormous gigs all over the world, as well as support from such household names as Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, The Blackout are sure not to disappoint with what will be a stunning set from these Welsh rock heroes.

THE SKINTS will be back at GuilFest doing exactly what they do best – sending crowds into a frenzy – on The Vive Le Rock Stage on Sunday 20th July.  Creators of ‘East London Reggae’ – a volatile mix of reggae, ska, dub, punk, and hip hop that sets arenas everywhere alight with that unique vibe only they can provide, The Skints have toured extensively, performing hundreds of shows with bands including The King Blues, The Beat, Reel Big Fish, and Bedouin Soundclash to name but a few.  With plenty of airtime on Radio 1 lately as well as massive viral social media success and sell out shows up and down the UK, this band are as hot as they come right now.  One thing is for sure – The Vive Le Rock Stage will be ‘skanking’ room only during this electric performance!

Singer songwriter sisters, WARD THOMAS, will be performing their special brand of country music to crowds on The Good Time Guide Stage, also on Sunday 20th July.  Brought up on a livestock farm in nearby Petersfield, Lizzie and Catherine have been taking the country scene by storm since the release of their debut EP “Footnotes” in 2013.  The last 12 months has seen strong public reviews, a very successful small venue tour, appearances on US radio stations, multiple awards, and then airplay on Radio 2 as well as support from Terry Wogan for these talented twins.

Hannah Wants brings her hard hitting bass house style to The Kane FM Presents Funky End Dance Tent on Friday 18th July.  A leading lady of the scene with a concrete reputation for her unique and commanding flair, the hype currently surrounding Miss Wants is well deserved and her worldwide success with every release stands as testament to this.  Revellers can expect to be taken on an epic musical journey full of infectious rhythms and only the heaviest of basslines.

Radio 1’s future music digital soundgirl B.Traits will also be ripping up The Kane FM Presents Funky End Dance Tent on Saturday 19th July.  With a style that incorporates everything from breakbeats, jungle, drum and bass, reggae, dancehall to garage, hip hop and funky house, Canadian born B’s DJ sets are known far and wide for their truly eclectic appeal.

As usual GuilFest continues to break the mould, bringing its inimitable line ups to Stoke Park with something for the entire family.  There are many more acts still to be announced for this year's GuilFest – The line up is set to grow to a total of over 200 fantastic performances!  As well as music, elsewhere on the site you can find attractions such as La Discotheque, The Cosmic Comedy Zone, The Theatre Tent, Farmer Giles Barndance, the brilliant GuilFest KidZone, and the brand new arts and entertainments area, The Spaced Inn.
