Texas/Yorkshire glam-punks 39TH GATE OF HELL are back with a new single and video.
'Many Roads' came together while the band were at a writers' retreat in Trelex, Switzerland. “Early recordings began in a wine cellar there where we were allowed to write and record daily”, recalls guitarist Ash. “The song really blossomed when we added our newest Sheffield rhythm section and got to record it at Sheffield’s Under The Wire Studios. “
The band mastered the track in Austin, Texas when the band returned to Ash's hometown to play a series of shows at the city's internationally renowned SXSW festival. While there, they enlisted local skaters to appear in a video for the song, shot on location at Doghouse Skatepark.
The band are now back in the UK we're they're currently planning more gigs for the Summer and Autumn.
