SHANE MACGOWAN is to have his 60th birthday celebrated with a special show in Dublin next month.
The NIPPLE ERECTORS, POGUES and POPES frontman turns 60 on 25 December, with the concert taking place at the city's National Concert Hall on 15 January.
Featuring a band including Jem Finer, Cait O'Riordan, Terry Woods and Spider Stacy of The Pogues and led by musical director Terry Edwards, a host of famous names will be lining up to pay tribute to the mercurial singer, including Nick Cave, Johnny Depp, Bobby Gillespie, Glen Hansard, Camille O’Sullivan, Cerys Matthews, Carl Barat, Lisa O’Neill, Finbar Furey, whenyoung, Glen Matlock and Clem Burke of Blondie and more....
