SF PUNK LEGENDS DROP LIVE ALBUM!

SF PUNK LEGENDS DROP LIVE ALBUM!

Original San Francisco punks NO ALTERNATIVE have a vintage live album coming out through Liberation Hall Records.

Revered among Bay Area punks in their late-70s heyday, No Alternative played regularly with the likes of The Germs, Black Flag, D.O.A., Flipper and more, but only managed a single EP, Backtracks and a couple of compilation tracks during their initial four-year lifespan. Drummer Greg Langston later fetched up in biker-sleaze band Sea Hags.

The band have since reformed and play The Albany Room, San Francisco on 25 May with The Avengers and The Vaxxines.

The latest instalment in Liberation Hall's 'Sounds from the San Francisco Underground' series, the previously unreleased Live At Mabuhay Gardens: November 7, 1980 was, as the name suggests, recorded at the legendary SF punk venue midway through the band's career.

The eleven-song set is complemented by two previously unreleased studio tracks, 'Witch Doctor' from 1980 and 'Working Class Boy' from 1982.

Set for release on 9 June, Live At Mabuhay Gardens is available for pre-order here.

'Working Class Boy' is available to stream/download here.
