KEELEY have returned with a new single and video and a UK tour.
'Who Wants To See The World' is the first single to be taken from Girl On The Edge Of The World, the third album from the Anglo-Irish 'dreamrock' trio based around Dublin singer, guitarist and songwriter Keeley Moss. The follow-up to last year's Beautiful Mysterious, it's due for release on 20 February through Definitive Gaze.
Inspired once again by the life of German backpacker Inga Maria Hauser, who was murdered on a trip to Northern Ireland in 1988, the single is the first new music to feature bassist Lukey Foxtrot and former Morrissey drummer Andrew Paresi, Moss stating "This record is the first time we've managed to capture what I call 'the sonic swirl' in our sound, the sound I've had in my head all along."
Using vintage VHS video techniques, Glasgow-based photographer and filmmaker Laura Meek has sought to retrace Inga's ill-fated trip to Ireland via the Stranraer-Larne ferry.
Out now, 'Who Wants To See The World' is available to stream/download here.
