Rising from the rubble of Beefheart and Feelgood channelling pub-rockers MOTOR BOYS MOTOR in 1983, the Messiahs drew praise with Good And Gone, their debut on Big Beat, produced by Feelgood producer Vic Maile. Touring the world with the likes of THE CRAMPS, ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN and DAVID BOWIE - who proclaimed them his favourite band! - they released three major label albums and had a Top 30 single before imploding in 1990.
Watch an interview with frontman Bill Carter, featuring tracks recorded live in Maryland.
