Aussie legends THE SCIENTISTS blow into the UK for a string of dates this Autumn.
Formed in Perth in 1978, the band breezed though Heartbreakers-style buzzsaw punk and power-pop and onto clanking, discordant, murky and abrasive swamp-blues, settling first in Syndey and then London, where they played with the likes of Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Gun Club and The Sisters Of Mercy.
Splitting in 1987, they reformed in 2006 to play Mudhoney's All Tomorrow's Parties, and have toured and recorded periodically, most recently delivering the new album Negativity in 2021.
