RUTS DC NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER TOUR DATES 2014

The glorious rebirth of the legendary Ruts DC continues to pick up pace this month as the band head out on a series of dates throughout November and December. With the forthcoming release of their new ‘Live On Stage’ album and the reissue of their classic dub record ‘Rhythm Collision Vol: 1’ arriving November 24th through Cadiz Music, after a triumphant European tour, the band are primed to start a select UK run.

The live show consists of songs representing the many phases of The Ruts and Ruts DC. Mixing tracks from their most recent ‘Rhythm Collision 2’ album with their acclaimed 1981 ‘Animal Now’ release, their set also includes classic Ruts tracks such as ‘Babylon’s Burning’, ‘Staring At The Rude Boys’, ‘Jah War’ and ‘West One’, among others.

The two remaining original Ruts members - Segs Jennings and Dave Ruffy - provide an exciting powerhouse rhythm section for new addition Leigh Heggarty to excel on guitar. Segs handles the lead vocal/front man duties with panache and respect while Ruffy takes care of backing vocals as he holds down the perfect beat.

Sounding fresh and with the songs still proving to carry an important message in these current times, the Ruts DC are more relevant than ever. Catch them live at the following dates:
