And this year it's a triple celebration as the festival celebrates its 20th birthday as well as the 40th Anniversary of punk's Year Zero, 1976, and indeed of this month's Vive Le Rock cover stars, THE DAMNED!
Alongside Croydon's finest, Rebellion will also be welcoming some of the biggest name's in U.K. punk, including THE EXPLOITED, G.B.H., BUZZCOCKS, STIFF LITTLE FINGERS, U.K. SUBS, COCKNEY REJECTS, DISCHARGE, PENETRATION, COCK SPARRER, SLAUGHTER & THE DOGS, THE ADICTS, HAGAR THE WOMB and PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT playing a set of JOY DIVISION CLASSICS.
Moreover, there's the finest range of U.S. punk acts appearing outside their homeland including FEAR, J.F.A. and DAG NASTY (all making their U.K. debut!), THE DESCENDENTS, JELLO BIAFARA & THE GUANTAMO SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, key members of BLACK FLAG performing as FLAG, THE DICKIES, DICTATORS NYC, THE DWARVES and C.J. RAMONE.
