REBELLION NEWS Hello there, we thought you were due for a Rebellion update, I'm going to try to keep it short cos I know its a pain getting loads of info through that half the time you dont have time to read...... Latest exciting additions to the bill are PENNYWISE who'll be special guests to COCKSPARRER on Saturday and bringing their own style of L.A. punk rock to the Rebellion event. These guys have been kicking up a fuss since 1988 and are a welcome addition to the line up. Breaking News (well is was a couple of weeks ago!) INFA RIOT, have reformed. The last big band from the Bushell era Oi days have got back together. They always crossed over with the Punk crowd, gigging with the likes of Exploited and the Upstarts. There's a lot of people that have waited to see them and we're excited that REBELLION is the first place you will be able to catch them live for over 25 years.... THE DEVILS BRIGADE (feat Matt Freeman) and THE OLD FIRM CASUALS (Lars Frederiksens new band)play Thursday so we'll have half of Rancid there that day!!! Jennie is really excited about having SIMON FRIEND from The Levellers play the acoustic stage on Sunday night and also PENNY RIMBAUD AND THE LAST AMENDMENT for Friday in Bizarre Bazaar. Bands are now on the website in Days and Stages so you can see who's playing where and which day. It's not an order of play though so if you see something which appears to clash on the list they might not when we do time lists. Day tickets are also available. There'll be a new A4 flyer out soon, if you go to loads of gigs and will take some or have record/clothes shops near you that'll take a few then please email us your address and whether you want a small/medium or large amount, any help is gratefully appreciated. Sorry for the dissapointment caused by Adam Ant pulling out, as we said on facebook we really did try and keep him happy but it was clear to us at the end that he had no intention of fullfilling the commitment he had made. Finally thank you to all the bands who get in touch and ask us to play. We really are full now and have a long reserve list so please dont send any more requests until next year. We do try to answer everyone personally but have been recieving up to 50 requests a day and cant always reply so apologies to anyone who has emailed and had no reply. Don't forget, April is the last month to get your tickets at a reduced price...... Well its just over a month till Amsterdam and we're looking forward to a jaunt accross the pond.
