| Hi All First of all we'd like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for making this years festival such a success. We weren't sure how we'd top 2012 with so many big names (Rancid, PiL, SLF, Buzzcocks, Social Distortion etc) but the feedback from Bands, Crew and most importantly PUNTERS was that this year was the best Rebellion so far. There was such a great atmosphere all weekend. It's not all about the headliners either. We still get a buzz when people discover a band they've never heard of playing in the afternoon and then go on to follow them / support them at club shows throughout the rest of the year. We're well underway with sorting out next years festival - so check out the news below! |

| Each year we release some EARLY BIRD tickets which enables the regulars and those that like to plan ahead to save quite a bit of money on the regular price. This year we've made 1000 Tickets available for £115 PLEASE NOTE - WE HAVE JUST UNDER 200 TICKETS LEFT AT THIS PRICE! As soon as this last batch have sold out the tickets will rise to the standard mid price of £130 which will last until April 30th

| The festival LINE UP takes shape over many months. We have requests in with loads of agents, we have to wait for bands to decide on their touring schedules etc (you'd be amazed how many people 'moan' about the line up before we've even finished booking it!!) but we can assure you that we will deliver another amazing festival. We'll keep you updated via Facebook and this Newsletter of any additions. We've already confirmed NOFX for next year but we have 4 days and many stages so rest assured there's still lots of 'headline' bands to add.  Those of you that came this year will know thatCockSparrer had a backdrop made exclusively for the festival and were raffling it off all weekend for charity.
We would like to echo the bands comments that have already appeared online and thank the amazing generosity of the Rebellion festival goers. The band ran a stall with their wives, kids and close friends selling tickets to raise money for STREETLIFE a charity that we will continue to support. Some positive press for Punk and the Rebellion festival - the following is taken from the local paper: Cock Sparrer give back to Blackpool youth Fans of punk legends Cock Sparrer and other Rebellion Punk festival attendees have helped the band make a donation of almost £2000 to local charity Streetlife, who work with the town's vulnerable young people. The band raffled off the custom-made backdrop that they used on stage on Saturday night, in the Empress Ballroom of the legendary Blackpool Winter Gardens. This was the fourth time the band have headlined the festival, and wanted to use the opportunity to support a local organisation. Singer Colin McFaull said, "We are overwhelmed by the level of support we received for this and by the number of people who made donations without taking tickets! As a band we know how lucky we are to have the Rebellion festival and we wanted to give something back to the people of Blackpool" Tony Riley from Streetlife said "Many thanks for the fantastic donation the band have raised at the Rebellion Punk Festival in Blackpool. It was a real WOW moment when they told me the amount!" "The money raised will go a long way to maintaining the work we do in our emergency nightshelter for young vulnerable people in Blackpool. We recently extended the opening hours by opening at 7-00pm instead of 9-00pm as previously. The funding we received to do this was only for 12 months and the donation will help ensure that we can extend this period. Massive thanks to all the fans who bought raffle tickets and made donations." The backdrop was won by Cock Sparrer fan Colin Kennedy, who couldn't stop grinning when he met the band to collect his prize.
