Rejuvenated Paisley Underground legends RAIN PARADE are back with a new single and video ahead of their UK dates.
'Surprise Surprise' features on the L.A. bands new four-track EP Last Stop On The Underground, which follows their acclaimed comeback album Last Rays Of A Dying Sun, which came out last year.
Formed in 1981, Rain Parade were pioneers of the new wave psychedelic scene which sprouted on the US West Coast in the mid-80s, also featuring the likes of The Dream Syndicate, The Long Ryders, Bangles and Green On Red.
On arrival in the UK, their underground sounds would influence such bands as Ride, The Charlatans, The Stone Roses, Teenage Fanclub and My Bloody Valentine.
Still fronted by guitarist Matt Piucci and Steven Roback (whose guitarist brother David left after their first album, eventually forming Mazzy Star), the band also features features long-time guitarist John Thoman, guitarist Derek See and drummer/percussionist Stephan Junca.
Set for release through Label 51 on 24 May, Last Stop On The Underground is available to pre-order digitally here and physically here.
