Brighton punk label Grow Your Own is releasing a new compilation celebrating International Women's Day on Friday 8 March.
No One's Little Girls features 16 tracks by women in bands - "from teens to grandmothers" - including contributions from HAGAR THE WOMB, THE MENSTRUAL CRAMPS, WERECATS, BRATAKUS, THE FLEAS, COMBAT SHOCK, PUSSYLIQUOR, LOUISE CHALLICE, MINDFRAME, KISS ME KILLER and more. All profits from sales will go to various grassroots women's charities.
Say the label: "It showcases the depth of female talent that has always been there but has not always been visible, and the explosion of younger women bands with the confidence and attitude to match their musical flair. The comp contains unforgettable, melodic pop punk guitar riffs to hardcore, dub influenced and acoustic tracks."
No One's Little Girls is available on limited edition coloured vinyl, CD and download from Bandcamp.
