100 YEAR CELEBRATION


Everyman is excited to announce a 100 Year Celebration of the Screen on the Green with a weekend of unique events in tribute to the Midnight Specials of ’77.

From Friday 29th November to Sunday 1st December, the Screen on the Green will host specially curated film screenings accompanied by live DJ Sets and music performances from the likes of punk and reggae legend Don Letts, Hollie Cook of The Slits and former Sex Pistol Glen Matlock.

One of the most influential Jamaican films of all time, The Harder They Come, plus DJ sets from fashion designer Pam Hogg, Tessa Bassie of The Slits and punk and reggae legend Don Letts will all be DJ-ing live to launch The Screen on the Green's 100 Year Celebration.

Saturday 30th November 18.30

This seminal documentary following the life and times of one of the most iconic punk bands ever will be followed by live performances by former Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock, plus Hollie Cook and Viv Albertine of The Slits.

Sunday 1st December 13.30

To close our 100 Year Celebrations, Sunday will be lazy punk afternoon with bloody marys and food included. Featuring a screening of the Jim Jarmusch cult classic Mystery Train plus followed by a live Q&A with Viv Albertine, Glen Matlock, Johnny Green and another very special guest.
