PINING FOR THE U.K.!

JAMIE BARRIER, frontman of US folk-punk legends THE PINE HILL HAINTS has lined up a UK tour this September.

The Haints, based in Auburn, Alabama and steeped in folk, bluegrass and hardcore punk, were formed in 1998 by Barrier aka James The Fang, also a onetime member of infamous Southern trash rockers THE QUADRAJETS alongside future IMMORTAL LEE COUNTY KILLERS founder Chet Weise.

Active since 1998, they've toured widely - frequently alongside the likes of J.D. WILKES and TH' LEGENDARY SHACK SHAKERS - and have released numerous singles, EPs and albums on CD and vinyl, mostly through their own Arkam label. Their most recent new album was 2017's Smoke, followed by a deluxe reissue of their 2007 classic Ghost Dance last year.

Barrier toured the UK last summer together with Yorkshire musician SERIOUS SAM BARRETT with whom he's released two joint album, North Country Steed and The Dime Horseshoe.
