Public Image Limited will headline the Split Festival at Ashbrooke Sports Ground on Saturday, September 22nd.
Barry Hyde, from The Futureheads, who is on the Split committee, said: “Finalising the line-up for Split this year has been a challenge, but we’ve managed to get a band we would never have even dreamed of.
“Split is bringing a Sex Pistol to Sunderland. It’s a punk rock miracle, and we are very excited.”
Tickets are just £25 per day or £40 for a weekend ticket. Under-18s and students can buy tickets priced £17.50 for a day or £30 for the weekend.
