PERE UBU have announced a London date in March to coincide with the release of a new box set.
The Cleveland proto-punks play The Dome in Tufnell Park on Thursday 24 March, with support from Rotterdam's RATS ON RAFTS. Promoted by Baba Yaga's Hut, tickets are priced £18 and are available here. Further dates are expected to be confirmed.
Fire Records are releasing Architecture Of Language: Pere Ubu 1979-1982 a week before the gig on 16 March, comprising high-quality vinyl reissues of the of the original albums New Picnic Time, The Art Of Walking and Song Of The Bailing Man. The box set follows on from the Elitism For The People: Pere Ubu 1975-78 set released last summer.
