As they gear up for their 40th Anniversary tour, PENETRATION are set to release not one but TWO limited edition 7" singles!
As previously announced, the County Durham legends play a dozen dates in October and November, including a show at London's Islington Academy. The tour follows on from the release of their highly acclaimed comeback album Resolution in 2015.
The first of the singles features newly recorded versions of three songs - ‘In The Future’, ‘Race Against Time’ and ‘Duty Free Technology’ - that were originally demoed by the ban back in 1976. It will be available on purple vinyl.
The second single will feature two cover versions that the band recorded during the sessions for Resolution - the FLAMIN' GROOVIES classic 'Shake Some Action' and, in a nod to current drummer John Maher, BUZZCOCKS' 'I Don't Mind'. This one will be pressed on gold vinyl. Both singles will be available in a full colour picture bag and limited to 500 copies.
The singles are both available to pre-order via the band's Pledge page, along with various other unique items including signed test pressings of each single, handwritten and signed 40th Anniversary tour setlists and lyric sheets, an exclusive T-Shirt design and signed and personalised prints of this iconic photo of Pauline Murray by legendary photographer Rik Walton...
