There's more action from Portugal this summer, this time of a rock'n'roll variety, as THE PARKINSONS and frontman Afonso Pinto's other band JOHNNY THROTTLE line up rare London dates.
First up, Johnny Throttle play a Some Weird Sin night at The Lexington on Saturday 23 July. Support comes from SCRAPS and THEE EVILTONES. Tickets priced £7 are available here.
The Parkinsons then play their only London show, headlining the Clerkenwell Festival on Sunday 28 August. Taking place in Spa Fields Park, Clerkenwell from 1.00 to 6.30pm, across two stages, and also featuring a jumble sale, bake-off and dog show, this event is becoming one of London's essential rock'n'roll highlights of the summer. And it's FREE! Loads more acts to be announced. More info here.
