Fast-rising Carlisle band HARDWICKE CIRCUS see in the New Year with a run of shows, including three dates in London.
Formed in the Cumbrian city a couple of years ago, the seven-piece band recently came to the attention of Pub Rock impressario and Stiff Records co-founder Dave Robinson, who quickly arranged for them to play a monthly residency at - where else? - the legendary Hope & Anchor in Islington, scene of so many Pub Rock triumphs.
The band play the final night of the residency tonight (Wed 2 Jan), followed by outer London shows in Walthamstow and Wimbledon, before heading back north. Full dates are...
