NINA HAGEN PLAYS RARE LONDON DATE!

German punk chanteuse NINA HAGEN is set to play her first U.K. show in 14 years!
As part of here World Tour celebrating 45 years on stage and screen, the charismatic performer will play London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on Saturday 24 September. Special guest at the show is Stiff Records hitmaker LENE LOVICH.

Sometimes referred to as the Godmother of Punk, the East Berlin-born Hagen was a successful teenage actress and singer before migrating to the West in 1976 and signing to CBS Records. Moving to London, she fell in with the likes of THE SLITS and THE SEX PISTOLS before returning to Germany to form the NINA HAGEN BAND and went on to record German language versions of Lovich's 'Lucky Number' and THE TUBES 'White Punks On Dope' , all the while causing media uproar with her controversial public appearances.
