NIGHT OF THE HAUNTER!

NIGHT OF THE HAUNTER!

The latest in a new crop of bands emerging from Down Under, A. SWAYZE & THE GHOSTS are set to release their debut 12" single next month.

Despite having the worst name since Chocolate Starfish, the image-free Tasmanian quartet have delivered a seemingly effortlessly urgent slab of New Wave punk in 'Suddenly', such as might've lit up the airwaves in late '78, courtesy of Peter Powell or Kid Jensen.

The prospect of 10" minute B-side 'Reciprocation' sounds even more intriguing.

Set for release through Rough Trade on 29 March, the single is available to pre-order here.

The band hit the UK for an appearance at The Great Escape, Brighton which runs from 9-11 May.
