> The final date of NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS’ summer festival schedule is now officially announced: the band will be playing the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury 2009, before Blur, on the closing night of the festival. This will be Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ third appearance at Glastonbury; they previously appeared in 1994 on the Other Stage and in 1998 on the Pyramid Stage.

> The band’s festival line up features new live addition Ed Kuepper on guitar. Kuepper, formerly of Australian bands The Saints and Laughing Clowns, completes the current Bad Seeds live line-up of Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey, Thomas Wydler, Jim Sclavunos and Conway Savage.

> These festival dates mark the band’s first European appearances since their sold-out London Troxy shows in November 2008.

> Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have re-issued their first four albums From Her To Eternity, The Firstborn Is Dead, Kicking Against The Pricks and Your Funeral… My Trial. This is the first part of the series that will see the band’s entire album catalogue digitally re-mastered and remixed in 5.1 surround sound for the first time. All 14 albums are to be released as deluxe Collectors Editions. Tender Prey, The Good Son, and Henry’s Dream are being readied for release in October 2009.
