New York Dolls Tap Rundgren to Produce
The New York Dolls are returning to the studio with Todd Rundgren 36 years after the last time the band and the producer teamed up.
The Dolls will team back up with the producer for a still-untitled 2009 album. The team-up last produced 1973's The New York Dolls. It'll follow up 2006's One Day It Will Please Us to Remember Even This (review) (Roadrunner). Let's not get too excited, though: The last time a punk band dragged Rundgren into the studio, we were stuck with Bad Religion's The New America (review) (2000, Atlantic).
