Danko Jones have posted the video for ‘Just A Beautiful Day”.  A black and white, back to basics performance video that matches the theme of their new album Rock And Roll Is Black And Blue perfectly and stands in stark contrast to the star studded video trilogy that accompanied the singles for their previous album. It was directed by the Diamond Bros who of course were responsible for the Danko Jones documentary Bring On The Mountain as well as the aforementioned video trilogy.

The album came out in Europe two weeks ago and entered the charts in no less than 10 territories with the highlight a number three entry in Sweden. This is the band’s highest ever album chart entry and trumped new releases by The Killers, Mumford & Sons and several high profile domestic artists.

After just completing a short but successful run of shows in the US the band are now gearing up for a European tour starting the week after next and that will be followed by a string of dates in their native Canada. Several shows in Europe are already sold out and we expect most to be by the time doors open.
