MORE SONGS ABOUT LOVE AND NOISE!

French melodic punks LANE have just unveiled a video from their forthcoming debut album.

'A Dead Man's Soul' is taken from A Shiny Day, which is set for release on the Twenty Something label on Friday 8 March. The album follows on from the band's debut release, the 10" four-track Teaching Not To Pray, released last year.

Hailing from the city of Angers in western France, LANE, an acronym for Love And Noise Experiment, have a bit of history. Brothers Pierre-Yves (bass) and Eric Sourice (vocals, guitar) were founder members of LES THUGS, one of France's most iconic punk bands, who released nine albums throughout the 80s and 90s on such labels as Closer, Vinyl Solution, Alternative Tentacles and SubPop. They're joined in the band by another pair of brothers, Camille (drums) and Etienne Belin (guitar) from fellow Angers band DARIA. The line-up is completed by Pierre-Yves son Félix also on guitar.

A Shiny Day is available to pre-order here.
