KID CONGO & THE PINK MONKEY BIRDS hit the UK for a short run of gigs next month.
The former Gun Club, Cramps and Bad Seeds guitarist and his band - featuring Mark Cisneros (Hammered Hulls, Des Demonas, The Makeup) and Ron Miller (Switchitter, Tire Fire) - will be touring in support of their most recent album That Delicious Vice, released in 2024 through In The Red and their first album in eight years.
The band will be joined on all dates by New York musician Liz Lamere, former partner of Suicide's Alan Vega. Collaborating on several albums with Vega until his death in 2016, she also co-wrote his biography Infinite Dreams: The Life of Alan Vega in 2024. Releasing two solo albums, Keep It Alive and One Never Knows, for In The Red, she's also toured with Lydia Lunch and Mercury Rev.
