MEMBRANES TO PLAY SI DENBIGH BENEFIT!

THE MEMBRANES will be playing a special benefit gig for MARCH VIOLETS frontman Si Denbigh in Leeds next week.
Earlier this year, Denbigh - also known for his time with BATFISH BOYS and as drum machine programmer for THE SISTERS OF MERCY - suffered a stroke that completely paralysed his left side. Having spent the past six months receiving physiotherapy in hospital, he's now gained the strength to return home, but the flat where's lived for thirty years will require extensive modification to enable him to cope independently under these new circumstances. The estimated cost of these works is £4-5,000.
Taking place at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds on Sunday 27 November, the event will also feature a solo set from Sisters guitarist CHRIS CATALYST, plus more names to be announced. Further details will be posted on the Facebook event.
There are no advance tickets for the show - there's a suggested donation of £10 on the door. There will also be merch and various Violets rarities on sale on the night. Please give generously.
