MAJOR NEW POST-PUNK FESTIVAL LAUNCHES NEXT SUMMER!

Milton Keynes is set to welcome a new post-punk festival next summer.

Taking over the city's National Bowl for a day on 22 June 2025, FOREVER NOW is being launched by promoters AEG Presents as a sister event to Goldenvoice's successful Cruel World festival in Pasadena CA, which recently celebrated its fourth year.

"We are delighted to present a festival that reflects the rich heritage of artists in the alternative music field," says AEG's CEO Steve Homer. "The day will feature some amazing artists, unique sets, and collaborations not seen on a UK stage before. As the birthplace of alt counterculture, the UK is the perfect home for a festival to pay homage to alternative creative artistry.’’

As well as two stages dedicated to music, Forever Now will feature a third stage, the Echo Chamber, hosted by musician, journalist and author John Robb, and featuring in-depth discussions and interviews with some of the scene's most renowned artists.

Says Robb, “The world just got less cruel with this announcement of the Forever Now festival that brings the cream of the post-punk crop to Milton Keynes this summer, mixing the old, new, borrowed and blue in a line-up of classic and cutting edge. If you feel a nostalgia for an age yet to come whilst still seeking the classic and have a curiosity for the next wave, then this will be a day to get immersed in."

A first list of artists will be revealed next week with pre-sale access to tickets opening on Thursday 5 December and general sale at 10.00am on Friday 6 December at forevernowfestival.co.uk
