French alt-rockers DARIA have just unveiled their long-awaited fifth album.
Formed in the historic city of Angers in 2002, the band were pioneers on the European post-hardcore scene, working with such noted producers as Iain Burgess (Leatherface, Shellac, Ministry) and J Robbins (Jawbox, Against Me!, Clutch) and touring internationally.
After four albums the band took a break in 2017 allowing brothers Camille and Etienne Belin to work with Felix and Pierre-Yves Sourice, rhythm section of SubPop-signed punk legends and fellow Angevins Les Thugs, in LANE, recording two well-received albums before later forming Do Not Machine.
Daria signalled their return at the end of 2022 with the widely-praised single 'Water And Sand', and now - joined by bassist Pierre-Yves Sourice - follow it up with the album Fall Not, recorded in Angers and mixed by Robbins at his Magpie Cage Studio in Baltimore.
Released through Nineteen Something Records, Fall Not is available on CD and vinyl through the Nineteen Something webstore and digitally through Bandcamp.
