Their first headline tour in over two years, fans will be able to experience the new album The Ending is Just the Beginning Repeating, out Friday July 22. The Living End have gotten off to a screaming start in 2011, releasing the eponymous single from their sixth album and scoring some serious radio attention. Next, an enticing run of club shows and festivals will no-doubt leave followers salivating. With tickets on sale Thursday July 07, the legendary trio are well-equipped to storm stages and exhibit the live show that has them branded one of the greatest live acts in the country. The single The Ending is Just the Beginning Repeating arrived at radio in early June and has already made a very rockin' impression on fans and media alike. Soon, careering through six capital cities, September's album tour will yield rich pickings for performance-starved fans of The Living End. The band have deliberately shirked arenas in favour of club locations to ensure high-octane performances fans can get up close and personal to. The Living End are also lined up to give one lucky high-school band the gig of a lifetime, playing a lunchtime high school show as a part of triple j's Unearthed High. The album tour kicks off with this gig, so it is fitting that The Living End have called on 2009 winners HUNTING GROUNDS to step into supporting duties. Hunting Grounds are a rambunctious sextet from Ballarat, and they know how to bring the ruckus live. Their hyperactive keys-anchored brand of discordant punk will have The Living End fans catching their breath and asking for more. KING CANNONS are another firecracker six-piece, hailing from Melbourne (via NZ). Their rootsy rock'n'roll exudes fire and passion while maintaining a classic cool. King Cannons are unmistakably enjoyable and guaranteed to get crowds moving at all shows. Playing order for these up-and-coming acts has been decided by a proverbial tossing of the coin so you'll have to show up early to find out who plays first.
