Greek newcomers THE LIPTARDS have just unveiled their debut single.
Fusing hardcore punk energy and rock'n'roll ramalama, 'Paycheck' is taken from the Thessaloniki quintet's forthcoming debut album Bowery Smile.
Recorded at Dare Studios in Katerini, the band say, "The idea behind the recordings was that all songs had to be recorded live as much as possible in order to capture the feeling and energy of a Liptards concert. Later on, it was sent to Magnus Lindberg (Cult Of Luna, Imperial State Electric, The Dahmers) in Stockholm to be mastered. Again, trying to maintain that feeling of live music."
