New Italian punk supergroup MARSX have just unveiled the debut single and video from their first album.
Fronted by Bologna punk legend Mars Valentine, the band comprises members from across the Italian scene with service seen in the likes of Tribal Noise, Thee Boozers, Dirty Hands and others.
'Two Holes' is the lead track from forthcoming The Rabbit Hole, recorded with legendary producer Glezös and mixed and mastered by Francesco Terrana of Black Box fame.
Taking inspiration from the likes of The Stranglers, Iggy, Black Album-period Damned, Lou Reed, The Ruts, Peter Perrett and Bowie, Valentine says "After a long period of musical inactivity, I wrote a batch of songs in a very short time in a frenzied blur of unexpected creativity. From there to having a proper band to record them, it’s been an easy jump.”
