LAST GREAT DREAMERS ANNOUNCE SINGLE AND TOUR!

Revitalised London rockers LAST GREAT DREAMERS have announced the release of a new single to coincide with their upcoming tour with Welsh sleaze legends TIGERTAILZ.
The band, who returned to the rock'n'roll fray in 2014, have also set up a PledgeMusic campaign for their first new album since their 90s heyday.
With the ten-date tour kicking off in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts on 8 April, and including two headline dates in Blackpool and Newcastle, the band's new single 'Glitterball Apocalypse' is set for release through Ray Records on 15 April. Full dates are as follows....

Mon 11 April............. NEWCASTLE, Trillians

Sat 16 April.............. CARDIFF, The Globe
Weds 20 April.......... BIRMINGHAM, Asylum 2
Thurs 21 April.......... GRIMSBY, Yardbirds
Fri 22 April............... BUCKLEY, Tivoli
Sat 23 April.............. Oxford, The Bullingdon
Of the tour, Dreamers guitarist Slyder says, “Obviously we are very excited to be out on tour again, and I think the Tigertailz audiences will be very different from the Cherie [Currie] tour last November, which is great. Ultimately they are a rock band, but they have pop sensibilities and catchy choruses, they love putting on a show and the whole glam, dressing up thing, as we do, so it should be a good fit. We’re less metal and more rock ’n’ roll but if their fans like good pop songs with a bit of camp swagger then they should enjoy us!”
The single and its B-side 'The Way We Collide' represent the first fruits of the band's sessions for their forthcoming new album. Fans can contribute to the making of the album via their PledgeMusic page. After meeting their total, the band will be donating 10% of any further funds raised to mental health charity Mind.
